Kids Ministry at Calvary Church
At Calvary Church we believe in investing in families. When your child (infant through 6th grade) comes to Calvary Kids they will have the opportunity to learn about a God in safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
We would love to see you and your family visit Calvary Kids.
Our Sunday Calvary Kid's Services
This is our nursery, where your child experiences love while you engage in worship. Please provide a bag or special instructions for your child’s needs.
This is for toddlers where we help them explore the world God made for them.
This is our preschool class. We focus on fun stories and social skills in this age. Kids must be potty trained to be in this service.
In early grade school, we begin to push the limits of allowing your child to experience God in order to own their faith. Expect them to tell you the stories they are learning. You might even hear a lot of repeatable phrases.
In later grade school, we give the kids a voice to speak and an object to touch. They tell the story. They engage the Gospel. They invest in others. We see kids raising their hands, serving in ministry here, and inviting their friends to church.
Your First Visit
Here’s what to expect when visiting Calvary Kids for the first time:
Our Family Center is located directly as you drive onto our campus where kids 2 years old through 6th grade meet. Our Nursery is located next to our sanctuary.
First, you can join us in the Family Center where the sign reads, “Kids Church”. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent’s Name
- Parent’s Phone Number
- Parent’s Address
- Child’s Name
- Child’s Birthdate
- Child’s Grade
- Any special instructions for the child.
(This information allows us to provide the safest environment for your child while at Calvary Church).
How Check-In Works
Before Service
You can check-in your child at any available kiosk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags and pick-up tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching pick-up tag.
After Service
After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. If you misplaced your tag do not worry! When you registered your family we will confirm your identity (via your state issued ID) with your family's registration. This way we know your child only goes home with you!
During Service
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear under the screens in the sanctuary. We ask that you exit the sanctuary immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
Nursing Mother's Room
Calvary Church offers Kids Ministry during service for infants. But we also have a Nursing Mother’s Room that is available for mothers infants. This room is reserved exclusively for moms with infants to simultaneously feed and enjoy the service in a more private and quiet environment. To utilize the Nursing Mother’s Room please see a Team Member at the blue wall located in our foyer. They will gladly unlock our secure space just for you!
CK Groups
CK Groups is a boys group and girls group setting, similar to that of scouts, where we build a kid’s character and confidence in through the Bible. A full age appropriate curriculum is used throughout the entire year with achievements and activities to keep you little one engaged in their personal growth.
