What is Calvary Cares?

What is Calvary Cares?

Calvary Cares is a way for our church to collectively express God’s love to the world. We are called by Jesus to be characterized by our love as his disciples (John 13:35).

It is for this reason that we strive to have the heart of a servant and of generosity as we give and serve outside the walls of our church.

Care Partners

Our Care Partners represent us throughout the world as they proclaim the Gospel and serve those in need. Our care for our missionaries is both financial and practical. We support over 50 Care Partners on a monthly basis. Our kids each year also pick a specific Care Partner to bless in addition to our all-church support.

Calvary Cares Projects (2025 Projects)

We partner with other organizations with the purpose of financially supporting them in the pursuit of their mission to make a difference in our world.

The Camp AN site is a marvelous story of God’s desire to reach the kids, teens and families of Western Alaska. With no prior camp or ministry of this type in the area, God set His finger on this land. This land was totally untouched by any kind of development, and is reachable only by boat. Through this project we will be helping provide a permanent shower facility for camp workers.

Valeo is an organization that provides mental health support to missionaries and missions organizations around the world. Through this project they will be re-establishing an on-field element to their existing ministry. The vast majority of Valeo’s care is delivered via tele-mental health (meeting with missionaries via video). Prior to Covid they were able to serve on-location multiple times a year however this element of the ministry has laid relatively dormant for multiple years. Their hope is to begin traveling again and serving missionaries once again in person.
