On March 30 - April 1 we will be celebrating Easter at Calvary! We have an incredible weekend planned and will be kicking off a new message series entitled "Overcomer." Also this year, we will be offering four different services that weekend. We will be having a Good Friday Service on Friday, March 30 at 7pm in the Sanctuary and three Easter Services on Saturday, March 31 at 6pm in the LGR for Calvary Unplugged, and on Sunday, April 1 at 9 & 11am in the Sanctuary. We hope you can join us at one of these services and invite a friend for a powerful weekend as we look how Jesus has made us overcomers in our world!
Can you imagine being born without arms or legs? What would be the quality of your life? How would you cope? What would your attitude or personality be like? How about the depth of your humor, the level of your faith, or your compassion for others? Meet the lovely Amy Brooks. Amy was born with an extremely rare condition called Tetraphocomelia--having no arms or legs. She was then left abandoned at the hospital by her birth parents where the staff was asked if they could "put her in a room and not feed her." Join us at Calvary on Saturday, April 14 at 6pm or Sunday April 15 at 10:30am to hear Amy's powerful story of how we can overcome our circumstances even when they seem impossible.
You can read more about Amy's books and art at AmyBrooks.org.
